'Buckwild' Star Shain Gandee Died on Muddy Road, Co-Stars Tweet Condolence

His friends on the MTV reality TV series and his extended family from the network's other shows have flooded Twitter with condolence and prayers for the Gandees.

AceShowbiz - Sad news comes from MTV's "Buckwild" family on Monday, April 1. One of its stars Shain Gandee was found dead along with his uncle David Gandee, 48, and another individual in a car on the long dirt road in the Wolf Pen Road area of Sissonville, West Virginia. He was 21.

His co-stars on the show tweeted condolence and prayers for the Gandees and their family upon hearing the sad news. Cara Parrish, his love interest on the reality TV series, wrote, "This is the emptiest I've ever felt. Please pray for [Shain's parents] Dale and Loretta."

Ashley Whitt posted, "RIP Shain Gandee. You were the most amazing person I've ever known. I know you will be watching over me every time I hit a mud hole. You will always be my best friend, I love you! <3" Anna Davis joined the mourners, "My heart is broken."

Katie Sharia tweeted, "Everything doesn't happen for a reason. I don't know why people say that...Thanks everyone for your condolences. We appreciate it." Shae Bradley added, "Breathe in. Breathe out. Repeat. Just going through the motions. Please pray for Shain's close friends and family."

Michael "Bluefoot" Burford wrote, "My heart's in a million g-ddamn pieces...I love you Shain, idk what I'm gonna do w.o. ya bro...Rest high on that mountain Shain, I love you brother and miss you terribly already, all I can think about is growin up thaxton holler together."

The nephew and uncle duo was reported missing on Sunday when relatives were unable to reach them. They were last seen around 3 A.M. that morning at local Larry's Bar telling people they were going off-roading. They were found by one of Shain's friends about 15 miles outside of Charleston.

Their bodies were discovered in a red-and-white 1984 Ford Bronco which muffler was just below the surface of the rough road with the passenger side covered with mud. The other person with them was identified as Donald Robert Myers, 27, another Sissonville resident. The cause of the death is still under investigation.

"We are shocked and saddened by the terrible news about Shain Gandee, and those involved in this tragic incident," MTV said in a statement. "We are waiting for more information but at this time, our main concern is for the Gandee family and their friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with them. Shain had a magnetic personality, with a passion for life that touched everyone he met and we will miss him dearly."

Shain's extended family from MTV's other shows also mourned his sudden death. Kailyn Lowry of "Teen Mom 2" posted on her Twitter account, "I send my condolences to all of Shain's friends and family. #RestInParadise." JWoww of "Jersey Shore" wrote, "That's awful that Shain passed...He was just a baby. RIP."

DJ Pauly D additionally tweeted, "Damn RIP Shain from @MTV Buckwild. Too young to die!!! He was a funny dude." Stephanie Pratt of "The Hills" was equally saddened as saying, "Wow I am so sad to hear abt Shain from Buckwild. Sending out love and prayers to his family + friends. Way too tragic."

Vinny Guadagnino wrote, "Wow. RIP Shain Gandee from @MTV Buckwild. All my prayers and condolences." Deena Nicole Cortez added, "So sad to hear the news about someone from the MTV family...My thoughts n prayers go out to the cast of #Buckwild and Shain's friends n fam...I send my condolences. #PrayForGandeeFamily"

Shain was the third "Buckwild" star to make headlines. Co-star Salwa Amin was previously arrested on drug raid before being released on $100,000 bond. She was later taken back to jail for violating the terms of her release. Their friend Bluefoot, meanwhile, was taken into custody for DUI.
