The band drops an eerie new clip to go with their new track, the first single off their upcoming album 'Mosquito'.

AceShowbiz - Indie rock band Yeah Yeah Yeahs premieres a music video for their new track "Sacrilege", the first single to be released from "Mosquito", their forthcoming new album set to be released on April 16. The Megaforce-directed clip starring British model Lily Cole has a rather disturbing storyline to match the glam rock tune backed by a church gospel choir.
The four-minute clip tells the story of a young lady as she is hunted down by her small town folk and is about to be burned at the stakes by the townspeople. The video then seems to play in reverse, going back in time to reveal the motivation for such a dreadful act.
As the clip backtracks, it exposes the many different dalliances the woman has had among several individuals within their community, including a passionate encounter with the local priest, and several other sexual encounters with both young male adults and much older men, and even one with a lesbian.
Vocalist and pianist Karen O, guitarist and keyboardist Nick Zinner and drummer Brian Chase also announce the new batch of tour dates they have added for their summer tour, which kicks off at New York City's Webster Hall on April 7. It is meant to support their new record, the follow-up to their last album "It's Blitz!", released back in 2009.
