The alleged thief claims he did nothing wrong and his connection to the car robbery was a case of mistaken identity.

AceShowbiz - Xavier McAfee, who was detained for allegedly breaking into Bryan Cranston's parked car and stealing his belongings, entered not-guilty plea on his first appearance in court. The man insisted he was innocent and his arrest was a case of mistaken identity.

The theft happened on December 20 when the actor was in New Mexico, Albuquerque to film the fifth and final season of "Breaking Bad". Someone smashed his Audi's window and took off with his shoulder bag that contained an iPad and script of the TV series.

A 911 call made by the actor to report the apparent theft has hit the web. "I need to report a breaking and entering into my automobile," he told the dispatcher, before saying the incident occurred at the Sandia Crest "way up top of the hill...it happened an hour ago."

The 56-year-old actor elaborated, "They broke my passenger window, and I'm on my way to Albuquerque Audi to turn it in," before giving the dispatcher his information and asking if a police officer could meet him there.

McAfee was taken into custody over the weekend after someone heard of a man bragging about how he broke into a car in the Sandia Mountain Range, showing "some type of laptop or iPad," and talking about how he also had a script from the 'Breaking Bad' series."

The alleged thief was booked on suspicion of one felony count of burglary. Unfortunately, none of Cranston's stolen items was recovered when the suspect was arrested. "We don't know if it was one scene or the whole season, but I know they are trying to keep tight wraps on this final season and how it is going to end," the police's rep said of the missing script.

According to CBS affiliate KRQE, Cranston's co-star Aaron Paul and actor Steven Michael Quezada allegedly also reported a breaking into their cars while in the city during production.
