The former 'Jersey Shore' star celebrates her son's christening with fiance Jionni LaValle by throwing a big party.

AceShowbiz - Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi has taken to Twitter to share her excitement about her son's baptism. The "Jersey Shore" star baptized 7-month-old son Lorenzo on Sunday, March 24 and chronicled the big day on the micro-blogging site.

"Lorenzo's big day today!!" Snooki announced before posting an Instagram photo of her and her fiance Jionni LaValle. "Proud parents today," she captioned the picture. The proud mother showed off her new slim figure in a royal blue dress while LaValle looked handsome in a shirt and tie.

Soon after that, she wrote, "Lorenzo is finally baptized!", without revealing the pics of the actual ceremony. She hinted that the christening went well, writing, "He did so good #proudparents"

Snooki then revealed who was given the honor to be the godmother of her baby. Posting a photo of herself with "Jersey Shore" co-star Jennie "JWoww" Farley, the 25-year-old reality TV star wrote in the caption, "With Lorenzo's god mommy !! @jenniwoww"

Snooki and her fiance then threw a special post-baptism bash for their seven-month-old son. She took this chance to have fun with the guests. "With my lovebirds," Snooki captioned a photo of herself posing with JWoww, who was attending the party with her fiance Roger Mathews. The godmother also made use of the time to take pictures of her godson. "My Lorenzo," she wrote in a caption of an Instagram photo of Lorenzo. She uploaded a photo of her bottle feeding Lorenzo, captioning, "My love <3."

Before the big day of her son came, Snooki dyed her red hair black. "She felt it was time for change, " hairstylist Bradley Moreland revealed on March 21. He said that his client wanted "a look that [requires] less maintenance."

The arrival of baby Lorenzo has not only changed the TV star physically but also transformed her into a new person. "I just explain it like this, I was 21 when the show came out. So basically, I was just growing up," she said on CNN's "Starting Point with Soledad O'Brien". "I did crazy stuff when I was 21, you know, drinking, having the time of my life. And now to where I'm settled down - 25 years old, I have a child - I couldn't be any happier. I love being a mom."

Snooki, who now prefers being called by her real name Nicole, is now working on a book about pregnancy. "I love to show the not-drinking side of me," she explained the reason why she decided to write the book.
