Kellie ties Zendaya for the highest score of the night with her modern jazz routine, but it's not enough to topple the teen Disney star from the top of the scoreboard.

AceShowbiz - "Dancing with the Stars" season 16 contestants, especially those who didn't dance good enough last week, had a chance to redeem themselves on Monday, March 25 before the first elimination takes place on Tuesday. Some did show improvement, but several others like D.L. Hughley are still on the bottom of the scoreboard after the scores of their second performances were combined with last week's scores.
After criticized by Len Goodman last week, Ingo Rademacher once again got mixed reviews for his quickstep with Kym Johnson that night. "Overall, I think it was an improvement," Len said, though noting that his footwork was "hit and miss." Carrie Ann Inaba, however, thought, his "frame was a little off." Ingo got 20 points for a total score of 40.
Starting out well enough last week, Dorothy Hamill was down this week after struggling with an injured ankle that forced her to skip several days of rehearsal. Bruno Tonioli said she lost her "footing so many times," but praised her "brave attempt" at doing the jive. Carrie Ann "sensed fear" and noted she "had a lot of mistakes," while Len commented, "It [the routine] had promise, but it didn't quite deliver." The Olympic figure skater earned 15 for a total of 36.
Jacoby Jones and Karina Smirnoff were next, dancing a spirited jazz number. "That, my friend, was rocking!" Carrie Ann gushed, as Len raved, "Great entertainment and I loved it." The NFL star got 23 points added to last week's score of 20 (43 in total).
Victor Ortiz couldn't impress the judges with his jive which he danced with pro partner Lindsay Arnold. Bruno said "it looked like a Zumba dance" at a point, while Carrie Ann told the boxer to get his "feet working." He got another 18 for a total of 36.
Wynonna Judd and her partner Tony Dovolani earned 18 as well for their quickstep. "You're playing it very safe," Carrie Ann criticized her, but loved her beautiful frame. Len said it started quite well, but "it ended up in kind of a casual stroll." Her total score is now 36.
Last week's frontrunner Zendaya Coleman showed consistency, getting 26 which was the highest score for the night with her snappy jive. "A star is born, big time!" Bruno declared. "You killed, killed, killed that number," Carrie Ann chimed in, as Len predicted she would be back next week. Zendaya's total score is now 50.
Andy Dick and Sharna Burgess delivered a fun jazz with a Mad Hatter theme set to Lady GaGa's "Poker Face". Len said, "That was a laugh," adding that he liked Andy's commitment. Bruno "loved it," and Carrie Ann said it allowed him to be "wacko demented." The funnyman earned 20 points for a total of 37.
Sean Lowe and Peta Murgatroyd danced a beachy jive, but Len didn't like that "the theme of the dance took over from the jive." Carrie Ann said it was a solid performance though noting that he's falling out of rhythm with the music when he was out of sync with his partner. Bruno, meanwhile, liked his presence on the dance floor. Sean got 20 points for a total of 39.
Alexandra Raisman and Mark Ballas delivered what Carrie Ann called the "best quickstep of the night." Len said it was "terrific," while Bruno compared it to "watching a magic little bluebird in full flight." The Olympic gymnast got 24 points added to her last week score of 21 (45 in total).
Performing a jive with an airline theme, Lisa Vanderpump admitted that she was still struggling "to hold up physically." Len said it was "a bit of a bumpy ride," but praised it for being "neat and precise." Carrie Ann advised her to "let loose a little bit more." The judges gave her another 18 for a total score of 36.
D. L. Hughley and his partner Cheryl Burke had an argument during rehearsals, but they managed to work it out before the performance. The judges said he showed improvement with his quickstep. "I can see that you worked really hard on that," Bruno commented. He got 16 which was a bump from last week's score of 12.
Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough danced a sexy and modern jazz, which got standing ovation from Carrie Ann. "I'm blown away!" the female judge admitted, as Len said, "Last week was a spark, this week was a fire!" Bruno added, "Visually arresting... Technically superb." The country music singer earned 26 for a total score of 47, which puts her on the runner-up of the leaderboard right below Zendaya.
Their total scores will be combined with viewer votes to determine who will be first couple to be sent home.
