The 'Wizards of Waverly Place' actress beats 'Victorious' star Victoria Justice as Favorite TV Actress, but the Disney series loses the Favorite TV show prize to the Nickelodeon show.

AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez came and won at Nickelodeon's 2013 Kids' Choice Awards. The "Spring Breakers" star bagged the Favorite Television Actress trophy for her role on the recently-canceled "Wizards of Waverly Place", beating out Miranda Cosgrove, Victoria Justice and Bridgit Mendler.

Looking cute in a baby blue peplum top and white shorts by Oscar de la Renta, she was excited that she got the prize despite the fact that her show is now off air. "I never expected it," she claimed, thanking fans by saying, "This is for you."

Later, the 20-year-old who is now single after splitting with Justin Bieber admitted the event was "such a good chance to let loose," as she was seen bonding with Katy Perry and Kristen Stewart inside the USC Galen Center where the event took place.

Despite losing the Favorite TV Actress to Gomez, Justice showed up on stage with her "Victorious" co-stars when their show was announced as Favorite TV Show. "Wizards of Waverly Place", "iCarly" and "Good Luck Charlie" were other contenders in the category.

Favorite Television Actor title went to Ross Lynch who plays Austin Moon on "Austin & Ally". "Wipeout" defeated popular singing competition series "America's Got Talent", "American Idol" and "The Voice" for the Favorite Reality Show award, while "SpongeBob SquarePants" was picked as Favorite Cartoon.

Hosted by Josh Duhamel, the 26th annual Kids' Choice Awards was held on Saturday, March 23. The show also presented prizes for kids' favorites in movie, music, sports and other categories.
