The ex-wife of Charlie Sheen is prepared to sue her ex-assistant and any media outlet that distribute the photos.
Brooke Mueller

has recently been hit with a nude-photo scandal after naked pictures of herself are sold to various outlets. The 35-year-old socialite is even more furious after finding out that her former assistant may be the one who sells those "unflattering" photographs.

The star's rep tells MailOnline, "Right now, we don't even know if any photos exist, let alone if they are of Brooke." Regarding the culprit behind the scandal, Brooke believes that a "disgruntled former assistant" is responsible for 'swiping' the nasty pictures. "If a former assistant did illegally obtain personal photos, she would be violating her non-disclosure agreement and placing herself and any media outlet that runs them in serious legal jeopardy," the rep says.

Sources close to Brooke confirm to TMZ that the actress is ready to take further serious action if the nude photos are published, saying, "[Brooke] has promised to file a lawsuit so fast their head will spin."

Brooke took the naked pictures herself after getting out of the shower and sent them to her ex-boyfriend. In TMZ's report, the photographs are described as "really graphic" and they were taken from an unflattering angle when the "Witchouse" actress was "dripping wet."

Her lawyers are said to be on "full alert" for anyone who publishes the shots.
