'Harlem Shake' Fever Reaches Mitch McConnell's and Conan O'Brien's Offices

As more and more people are catching on the "Harlem Shake" craze, hitting YouTube phenomenon levels known only before to 's "Gangnam Style", people from all walks of life, from regular folks to celebrities, have posted their own clips, dancing to the wacky, addicting beat. Most recently, the dance craze reached the workplace of Senator Mitch McConnell, late-night show host and even the set of TV series "".

Apparently, Sen. McConnell's re-election campaign volunteers "Team Mitch" thought a "Harlem Shake" spoof in front of Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky would make for a cool campaign clip. Their version featured a man holding a blown-up image of the senate minority leader's head leading the shake that included someone wearing a horse mask to represent the Kentucky Derby. Another person wore an elephant suit as the symbol of the Grand Old Party.

When the "Harlem Shake" fever hit Conan O'Brien's talk show, the comedian quickly put a stop on time. The late-night show host put his writer Deon Cole in the "time out" corner of the show's set after breaking O'Brien's strict rule against viral video fads, of course, all meant in jest.

Elsewhere in Vancouver, Canada, on the set of The CW's popular show "Supernatural", actor , with on-screen brother , standing nearby, led the cast and crew to do their own version. The Dean depicter did the solo part for the first 15 seconds before the clapper, holding a giant clapperboard entered the frame to signal to everyone to join in.
