GetTaxi gives The Biebs a free lift to his Tuesday, March 5 concert to avoid a repeat of Monday's very late show.

AceShowbiz - Pop superstar Justin Bieber has apologized to his disappointed fans for his 2-hour late concert at London's O2 Arena Monday night, March 4. Bieber, who said sorry via Twitter, also used his account to explain that he was only 40 minutes late to his own show.

"So let me say this ... last night I was scheduled after 3 opening acts to go on stage at 935 not 830 but because of some technical issues I got on at 10:10... so I was 40 min late to stage," he tweeted. "There is no excuse for that and I apologize for anyone we upset. However it was great show and I'm proud of that."

As expected, die-hard Beliebers also came to the defense of the beleaguered artist. One fan tweeted, "Feel really bad for @justinbieber now! Yes he was late but he put on a flipping good show! It was amazing."

Although the "Boyfriend" singer pointed to unidentified problems beyond his control as the cause of the delay and avoided addressing the reason why he arrived late to the show, a taxi company used the chance to offer Bieber a free ride to O2 Arena to make sure he would start his Tuesday show on time.

The complimentary ride was offered by taxi-ordering app GetTaxi, who sent a black cab to the five-star Langham Hotel where Bieber was billeted. The cab's engine had reportedly been running as early as 3 P.M. just so it would be ready to whisk Bieber away anytime the 19-year-old entertainer hopped on to go to his second performance.
