Taylor Swift Claims Harry Styles Cheated on Her, Slams Tina Fey and Amy Poehler on Love Life Joke

Swift authorizes someone to speak about the boybander due to her rule of not going into details about any of her relationship, but she speaks for herself when it comes to Fey and Poehler's joke.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift opens up about her relationship with Harry Styles in the latest issue of Vanity Fair, or rather she gives permission for an unnamed source to speak on her behalf because she doesn't want to break her own rule that she won't go into details about any of her relationship -- except in songs, that's it. Also in the same interview, she reacts to Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's joke about her love life.

The authorized insider claims the One Direction member pursued her for a year, "He was all, like, 'You're amazing - I want to be with you. I want to do this.' " When he finally "wore her down," he reportedly cheated on her. The relationship got rocky after he alerted Swift of a picture on the web of him kissing a friend good-bye. She didn't buy his excuse because they were "making out like with their hands all up in each other's hair."

The source testifies that after Swift broke things off, Styles, 19, convinced the 22-year-old country music singer to take him back until she finally gave in for the second time. "But the whole time she says she feels like he's looking at every girl," the source says. During the time they were in London together he allegedly "disappears one night and after that it was like he just didn't want to keep going."

In the public eye, her relationship with Styles happened just a few months after she split from Conor Kennedy. That placed her as a subject of mockery by media and fellow celebs including Golden Globe hosts Fey and Poehler. The singer is not amused by the jokes, and she fires back at the hosts and mean girls in general.

"You know, Katie Couric is one of my favorite people," the singer/songwriter tells Vanity Fair's contributing editor Nancy Jo Sales, "because she said to me she had heard a quote that she loved . . . that said, 'There's a special place in hell for women who don't help other women.' " The quote is attributed to former secretary of state Madeleine Albright.

In a faux drunken speech, Fey warned Swift to "stay away from Michael J. Fox's son," who served as Mr. Golden Globes back then, while Poehler quipped, "Or go for it." The "30 Rock" star insisted Swift who's notoriously known for writing songs about her exes needed "some 'me' time to learn about herself."

Swift who's widely known for dating such high profile celebs as Joe Jonas, John Mayer and Jake Gyllenhaal is annoyed by media for linking her to every guy she had contact with. "[T]he fact that there are slide shows of a dozen guys that I either hugged on a red carpet or met for lunch or wrote a song with. . . it's just kind of ridiculous," she says. "It's why I have to avoid the tabloid part of our culture, because they turn you into a fictional character."

She then defends her tendency to write songs about her exes that earned her reputation as a boy-crazy. "For a female to write about her feelings, and then be portrayed as some clingy, insane, desperate girlfriend in need of making you marry her and have kids with her, I think that's taking something that potentially should be celebrated - a woman writing about her feelings in a confessional way - that's taking it and turning it and twisting it into something that is frankly a little sexist," she reasoned.

Both Styles and Poehler have reacted to Swift's Vanity Fair cover story. A rep for the boybander, Benny Tarantini at Columbia Records, denies all claims made by Swift's source, calling them "undeniably false." Poehler, meanwhile, says to The Hollywood Reporter, "Aw, I feel bad if she was upset. I am a feminist, and she is a young and talented girl. That being said, I do agree I am going to hell. But for other reasons. Mostly boring tax stuff."
