'All-Star Celebrity Apprentice' Fires Returning Champion in Premiere Episode

As soon as "" kicked off its All-Star edition, one potential strong contender was kicked out. The premiere episode saw season 3 winner and season 1 runner-up in charge as team leaders for "Power" team and "Plan B" team respectively, putting one of them in a risky position at the end of the challenge.

The task in the first episode was to run meatball shops and sell the meatballs. The celebrity contestants then would brought their meatballs to "Live! With Kelly and Michael" where and would choose who made the better meatball. The chosen team would get a cash bonus added to their total.

Trace, who picked Penn Jillette, Dee Snider, , , and as his team members, was chosen as the project manager as well and decided not to open their shop to the public. Instead, he opened the shop to high-profile private donors, with , , , and T. Boone Pickens donating big checks.

Team Power, whose members included Omarosa, , , and , had Brande Roderick as the project manager. They served everyone who lined up in front of their shop, with Lil Jon and Bret being sent to offer vegetarian meatball in pesto sauce with truffle oil to Kelly and Michael.

At the end of the day, Team Plan B raised $419,539, while Team Power raised $230,533 in addition to the $20,000 they won from Kelly and Michael. The total of money gained would go to Trace's charity, the American Red Cross as his team won the challenge.

Someone from Team Power would be sent home, and Brande clearly lost control of her team. She didn't know who raised the least money and brought Bret and La Toya back to the boardroom based on the numbers given by Omarosa.

Judges and said Brande should've brought back Omarosa instead. However, Donald Trump didn't blame her for the team's loss as the real estate tycoon eventually fired Bret, saying that the rocker should've done better for his team after being a winner on the show once.
