The students who shot the video on the plane reportedly got permission from flight crew and everyone else on board.

AceShowbiz - The decision made by Frontier Flight 157's crew to allow a group of college students to do "Harlem Shake" seems to backfire. The shakiness at the end of the video is believed to have raised concerns from the Federal Aviation Administration who's now stepping in to investigate out of safety fear, LA Times reports.
A spokeswoman for the Frontier Airlines confirmed the FAA probing. They insisted "all safety measures were followed" during the flight, refusing to give any further comments.
The video was made by Ultimate Frisbee team from Colorado College while on their way to San Diego for their first tournament of the season. One person started to dance as music was played on the background before many others followed turning the plane's aisle into a dance floor.
Captain of the team, Dan Eppstein, claimed they got an OK from flight attendants and the other passengers on board to shoot the video. He blamed the poor camera work for the shakiness shown towards the end of the video. "It was totally safe," he insisted.
