Jennifer Lawrence to Team Up With David O. Russell Again in New Romantic Drama
Movie

The Katniss Everdeen of the 'Hunger Games' film series will reunite with her 'Silver Linings Playbook' director in a new movie called 'The Ends of the Earth'.

AceShowbiz - Just a few days ago it was reported that Jennifer Lawrence is set to star in an untitled David O. Russell project about Abscam, and now it is said that the "Silver Linings Playbook" actress and director are set to reunite in another movie project. They will team up again in a drama called "The Ends of the Earth".

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Russell is expected to helm the project after wrapping his Abscam film with Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale and Amy Adams. Apparently, Lawrence is only set to make a cameo in the high-profile movie.

Of why he chooses to reunite with Lawrence for his upcoming projects, Russell says, "Jennifer possess a self-deprecating humor that made all of the cast and crew feel at ease." He gushes, "She is that kind of person."

"She is the most dedicated person I know," the New York-born filmmaked adds. "She is devoted to her family, and they have been the true inspiration for her character and integrity. Her acting is effortless, and she always makes it look easy."

"The Ends of the Earth" is a love story about a "powerful oil tycoon who has everything stripped from him after he is caught in an affair." The script is written by "Argo" screenwriter Chris Terrio. The producing duty, meanwhile, is tackled by Todd Black, Steve Tisch and Jason Blumenthal.

In a joint statement to THR, producers Black and Tisch gush about Lawrence, "Jennifer Lawrence is one of the most versatile actresses we have ever seen. Her performance in Silver Linings was transcendent and was truly the heart and soul of the film. Jennifer was basically asked to play four personalities -- depressed, sexy, romantic and a wild dancer -- and did them all brilliantly."

"After seeing that performance, we knew we had our anchor for Ends of the Earth. Her dedication to the craft and all those who work with her is inspiring -- and if she is the future of our business, we are certainly in good hands."

Lawrence will be seen returning as Katniss Everdeen in "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" on November 22. She is also set to reteam with Cooper in thriller pic "Serena". This coming Sunday, February 24, she is up for a Best Actress award at the 2013 Oscars thanks to her performance in "Silver Linings".
