The two acts team-up for the Saturday skills bonanza of NBA All-Star weekend along with other musical performers Ellie Goulding and Phillip Phillips.

AceShowbiz - Pop punk band Fall Out Boy rocked the Slam Dunk contest of NBA All-Star weekend on Saturday, February 16 in Houston, Texas with their performance of their new single "My Songs Know What You Did in The Dark (Light Em Up)". They performed the song's remix version with hip-hop star 2 Chainz as he popped up onstage with his signature self-introduction ("2 Chainzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz").

In their red Chicago Bulls jerseys under black jackets, the recently-reunited quartet got the crowd at the Toyota Center bouncing before the lanky Atlanta rapper entered midway into the song. He spit out his rhymes, "Light it up/ I'm so hot I'm getting fire than a fire truck," before making his way over to band bassist Pete Wentz's microphone to join the guys for the track's catchy hook.

"There wasn't a lot of weirdness getting into it. He totally got us, we totally got him", frontman Patrick Stump revealed about their unlikely combination for the celebrity-studded event. "I think it helps that we're fans," guitarist Joe Trohman added. "When the vibe is right, everybody works together without really having to discuss how to work together."

Hosted by rapper and TV personality Nick Cannon, NBA all-star Saturday also featured "American Idol" season eleven winner Phillip Phillips, who performed his smash hit "Home", and British singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding who dished out her hit single "Lights". R'n'B superstars Alicia Keys, John Legend and Ne-Yo were set to take the stage at the big NBA All-star game on Sunday, February 17.
