'Game of Thrones' Actor Peter Dinklage Officially Joins 'X-Men: Days of Future Past'
Movie

After confirming the plan to give 3D treatment to the movie, Singer announces the Tyrion Lannister depicter as a new cast member to join the previously-announced actors.

AceShowbiz - To make up the secrecy of "X-Men: Days of Future Past" plot, Bryan Singer generously reveals a new cast member signed to star in the upcoming movie. The director has just announced on Twitter that Peter Dinklage has been tapped to join the superhero film.

"Officially like to welcome #PeterDinklage from #GameOfThrones to #XMEN #DaysofFuturePast Very very excited!" the helmer wrote. He didn't mention anything about what character the Tyrion Lannister of "Game of Thrones" was going to tackle in the upcoming flick.

Ellen Page, Anna Paquin and Shawn Ashmore will return in the new movie to reprise their roles as Rogue, Kitty Pryde and Iceman respectively. Other returning cast include Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Patrick Stewart as Professor X and Ian McKellen as Magneto.

In an interview with MTV, Singer played coy when asked about if Halle Berry would also reunite with the other mutants. "I can't say. I don't know yet. And it's not necessarily a deal making aspect at all," he said. "I want to make sure it'll make sense. But I love working with her."

In a separate interview with Cinema Blend, Singer said about giving 3D treatment to the movie. He, however, was reluctant to dish on the plot details. "There's things that we're going to do in this movie that haven't been done in X-Men films before," he explained. "Stuff involving [time travel], and stuff involving certain technology, and certain science fiction aspects that haven't been used before in an X-Men film. We'd like to keep some of that a surprise."
