AceShowbiz - While A-list musicians celebrated the biggest night in music at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, movie stars flocked into the Royal Opera House in London for the 2013 EE British Academy Film Awards. Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Lawrence and Gemma Arterton stole attention with their own sophisticated looks.
Hathaway donned a Burberry gown with a short-sleeved studded bodice. Lawrence as a new face of Dior naturally opted for a Christian Dior Couture design. She looked radiant in a strapless pink frock decorated with a waterfall of sequin embellishments. Arterton chose a nude-and-black velvet striped diagonal one-shoulder gown by Celia Kritharioti.
Jessica Chastain brightened up the room with her blue gown by Roland Mouret. Marion Cotillard added color to the red carpet showcase with a sunny yellow dress. Gloomy weather of London also didn't prevent Laura Bailey from wearing a bright red color. Wearing white to the shindig were Helen Mirren and Juno Temple.
The rest of the guests mostly chose black. Amy Adams went with an Elie Saab Couture dress, Casadei shoes, and Faberge jewelry. Sarah Jessica Parker graced the red carpet in an Elie Saab jumpsuit, Jean-Michel Cazabat shoes, FL rings, earrings, and necklace, Fenton bracelets, a Jaeger leCoultre watch, and VBH bag.
A combination of black and white colors was showcased by actresses Jennifer Garner and Hayley Atwell. Garner, coming with her actor hubby Ben Affleck who won big at the event, rocked a Roland Mouret dress, Roger Vivier bag, and jewels from Forever Mark. Atwell donned a monochrome Antonio Berardi design.
