The CNN host says he received a parcel containing a note, a DVD, and a bullet-ridden coin from the ex-Los Angeles cop who is accused of killing three people.

AceShowbiz - Christopher Dorner, a man who is being hunted for allegedly killing three people, sent a package to Anderson Cooper before his shooting spree. The package was delivered to the CNN host's assistant on February 1, but he just noticed it after the extensive search for Dorner made headlines.
"Learned today suspect Christopher Dorner sent me a parcel at CNN. Inside was a note, DVD, and a coin shot thru with bullet holes," Cooper tweeted on Thursday, February 7. He also told CNN's Wolf Blitzer on "The Situation Room" show, "Actually, I learned today, just today, that the suspect -- the suspect, Christopher Dorner, mailed me a parcel at my office here at CNN in New York."
"Apparently, the package arrived on the 1st of February. It was not opened by me. I did not know of its existence until today," he went on detailing. "Inside the package was a hand-labeled DVD with a yellow Post-It Note, reading, in part, quote, 'I never lied,' apparently in reference to his dismissal from the LAPD in 2008."
The coin was wrapped in duct tape which had a hand-written inscription, "Thanks, but no thanks, Will Bratton." Bratton is a former LAPD chief. Cooper added, "The staff, my staff at '360' and CNN management and myself were made aware of this package just today... And upon, obviously, learning this exists, we alerted Mr. Bratton and law enforcement."
Dorner is an ex-Los Angeles police officer suspected in the murders of three people, including a 34-year-old officer. The other two victims were Monica Quan and her fiance Keith Lawrence, who were found shot to death in their car at a parking structure in Irvine on Sunday night.
Quan's father is a former LAPD captain who represented Dorner in front of the Board of Rights, a tribunal that ruled against Dorner at the time of his dismissal. Dormer was fired from the LAPD in 2009 for lying about an excessive force complaint filed against his field training officer, Sgt. Teresa Evans.
Dorner posted a manifesto on his Facebook before his killing spree, detailing his violent plan. "I will bring unconventional and asymmetrical warfare to those in LAPD uniform whether on or off duty," he wrote. "Unfortunately, I will not be alive to see my name cleared. That's what this is about, my name. A man is nothing without his name."
In the manifesto, Dorner mentioned Cooper as one of the journalists whom he admires, saying, "Keep up the great work." He also praised Ellen DeGeneres and Los Angeles newscaster Pat Harvey.
