The pop superstar's manager confirms his client is in 'deep negotiations' to headline Las Vegas.

AceShowbiz - Despite rumors to the contrary, Britney Spears is still in "deep negotiations" to perform live in Las Vegas. This was confirmed by her manager, Larry Rudolph, with the choice of which venue she would headline already narrowed down to two casinos.

"I'd be shocked if it didn't happen," Rudolph said on Tuesday, February 5. "[We're] hoping to have a deal done very soon." Last month, it was reported that the Princess of Pop has already sealed a $200 million deal with Caesar's Palace to perform in live shows over the next two years. The mega contract may not have been fully finalized yet pending the decision on which arena the "Oops, I Did It Again" singer will headline.

Earlier reports claimed Spears would perform an 80-date series of shows on the stage of The Colloseum at the five-star hotel Caesar's Palace. However, the former "The X Factor (US)" judge may not be too keen on the said venue since it already hosts Celine Dion, Elton John and Shania Twain until the year 2014. And while Rod Stewart's two-year contract is about to end in August, the venue is still already "packed every weekend for months."

Caesars Entertainment Group has offered Spears' camp other alternative properties like Bally's, Flamingo, Harrah's, Paris, Planet Hollywood and Rio. Once the location is selected, a formal statement from Spears herself can be expected in the coming weeks.
