Possible Details of Hulk-Centric Films in Marvel's Phase 3
Movie

Latest rumor suggests that the green beast portrayed by Mark Ruffalo would have big portions in the next phase of Marvel Cinematic Universe.

AceShowbiz - What is Marvel Studios' plan after its Phase 2 ends? While it is already known that "Ant-Man" and "Dr. Strange" would be part of the next phase, Latino Review shares the words that another famous and already-familiar superhero might get his own big screen treatment in Phase 3. He is none other than The Hulk.

If the site could be trusted, Marvel reportedly already lays the groundwork of Phase 3 which includes [SPOILER ALERT!] a stand alone film of the green beast as well as a Hulk-centric "The Avengers 3". Furthermore, through a video blog, Latino Review's El Mayimbe details how "The Avengers 2" will boast clues to a Hulk movie through a post-credit scene.

Mayimbe says that at the end of "The Avengers" sequel, Mark Ruffalo's character will be shipped off into space after being deemed a serious threat to the Earth by Marvel's Illuminati organization. Should it be true, the standalone film for Hulk in Phase 3 might find him in an adventure based on Greg Pak's 2006 storyline called "Planet Hulk", where the gama monster becomes a gladiatorial champion on an alien world.

Hulk's adventure won't stop in the standalone film as the site notes that Marvel Cinematic Universe will offer a "secret order" known as the Illuminati, which is responsible for Hulk's banishment into the space. The theory is, Hulk will return to Earth in the third "Avengers" film to seek revenge for his banishment. The story reportedly will be adapted from Pak's "World War Hulk" story arc.

While the spoilerish rumor is not yet confirmed, Marvel is currently gearing up to release a number of highly-anticipated movies from the second phase. "Iron Man 3" and "Thor: The Dark World" will be released Stateside this year, "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" and "Guardians of the Galaxy" will come out in 2014, while "The Avengers 2" is set to arrive in 2015.
