'Evil Dead', 'The Burt Wonderstone' and 'Spring Breakers' are the Headliners of the upcoming Austin film festival to take place on March 8-16.

AceShowbiz - After previewing part of its lineup earlier this January, the 2013 South by Southwest Film Conference and Festival unleashes its entire lineup of feature films that will be screened during the upcoming event. Among the highlights in the Narrative Spotlight category are Joss Whedon's "Much Ado About Nothing", Joe Swanberg's "Drinking Buddies" and Dan Mazer's "I Give It a Year".

The Headliners, meanwhile, compiles a number of films from different genres from horror to comedy. The likes of "Evil Dead", "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone" and "Spring Breakers" are included in the category. Also, the fest is set to screen some Festival Favorites titles that include such films as Joseph Gordon-Levitt's "Don Jon's Addiction" and Jeff Nichols' "Mud".

Dave Grohl's "Sound City" and A&E's upcoming series "Bates Motel" also have spots during the festival's Special Events schedule. Other categories for the event are SX Global, 24 Beats Per Second, Documentary Spotlight, Documentary Feature Competition and Narrative Feature Competition.

Of this year's selection, festival producer Janet Pierson says, "There are a plethora of L.G.B.T. films this year. All these films struck us one after another." She tells The New York Times, "We want some films that are funny, we want some films that are scary. We want some films that are thought-provoking, we want some films that are super-arty. But mostly, we're looking at these thousands of films that come into us and we're looking for what grabs us and engages us."

The 2013 SXSW Film Conference and Festival is set to take place on March 8-16 in Austin, Texas. The fest will announce more titles, which will be included in the short films and midnight showings, soon after the list is completed on Wednesday, February 6.
