'I will absolutely be singing live,' Beyonce Knowles promises when attending a press conference for the highly-anticipated NFL game on Sunday, February 3.

AceShowbiz - Getting closer to her highly-anticipated half time performance at the Super Bowl XLVII this coming Sunday, Beyonce Knowles attended the press conference for the big NFL event on Thursday, January 31. Looking hot in a skintight mini dress that exposed her firm legs, Queen Bey took time to address her headline-grabbing show at Barack Obama's inauguration, where she did a lip-synch when singing the National Anthem.

"I am a perfectionist and, one thing about me, I practice until my feet bleed," the Houston native diva explained. "I did not have time to rehearse with the orchestra. It was a live television show and a very, very important emotional show for me, one of my proudest moments."

She went, "Due to the weather, due to the delay, due to no proper sound check, I did not feel comfortable taking a risk. It was about the President and the Inauguration, and I wanted to make him and my country proud. So I decided to sing along with my pre-recorded track, which is very common in the music industry, and I'm very proud of my performance."

As for the Sunday, February 3 performance, the wife of Jay-Z promised she would really sing live. "I will absolutely be singing live," she vowed. "I'm well-rehearsed, and I'll absolutely be singing live. This is what I was born to do and what I was born for. I've had a 16-year career, and all of the things that I've done has prepared me for this. So I'm ready."

On the rumors that there would be a Destiny's Child reunion during her Super Bowl gig, the "Run the World (Girls)" hitmaker refused to comment on it but she's enthusiastic about discussing the trio's new album. "Well, we just had a new release - the love songs Destiny's Child album," she said.

"We did a new song. It was so exciting to hear us together again. I just kind of dropped on the floor and felt like a little teenager again when I heard us harmonize. There's nothing like our connection and the sisterhood we have. So it's always such a pleasure to be around them professionally and personally."

While Beyonce is set to take the stage for the big half time show, another diva Jennifer Hudson is set to deliver her performance during the pre-game show. The "American Idol" alum has just been tapped to sing "America the Beautiful" with the Sandy Hook Elementary School chorus live before the game kicks off.

According to USA Today, the chorus will perform directly before Alicia Keys croons "The Star Spangled Banner". The Sandy Hook school was the one where the Newtown shooting tragedy that claimed the lives of 20 first graders and 6 adults on December 14. The chorus, which consists of 26 students, will dedicate their performance to those who died in the tragedy.
