Jaden Smith Drops New Track 'Kite' Featuring Sister Willow

The teen rapper son of Will Smith rhymes a downcast tune much like his sister's recent track about childhood struggles.

AceShowbiz - Jaden Smith has dropped a new song entitled "Kite" featuring her 12-year-old sister Willow Smith. In his latest track, Jaden talks about being lost and wanting to fly away like a kite, and about being sad despite being surrounded by rich and famous people. It comes a week after Willow released her own song, the equally melancholic "Sugar and Spice".

Clearly influenced by rapper Drake, Jaden rhymes about living a privileged life and yet still feeling unhappy, "Half of you jokers don't hear what I'm sayin' / But this is real, I'm feelin' pain," he spits. "Fast as a train, sharp as a brain / I am a poet, I do not explain / These are my feelings, I don't entertain / Keepin' it plane, my take, it look like I'm me / You don't know what I attain."

Jaden blurts out the more mature, sensual lyrics in the second verse: "I gave you kisses on yo neck... / Fly like the birds and the bees /Please, go get some Z's... / And I'm gonna find me a actress / With long hair, nice skin, does back flips / And red lips and she don't need chopsticks... / Come to the beach, get a tan / Lay in the sand, baby you hot as a pan / Come with the tightest bikini, you wear the Panini cuz baby you can / I'll be your genie cuz I am your man."

Children of the blockbuster-making couple Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, the two Smith siblings rose to fame even before breaking into their teens, with Jaden claiming stardom after his breakthrough role opposite his father in the 2006 film "The Pursuit of Happyness". He followed it up with hit remakes of "The Day the Earth Stood Still" and "The Karate Kid". Willow, on the other hand, broke the ground in music with her hit dance single "Whip My Hair" released in 2010.
