'All My Children' and 'One Life to Live' Online Revival Officially on the Go

Prospect Park announces it has reached agreements with the Hollywood unions to bring back the soap dramas for The Online Network, with production scheduled to start in February.

Loyal viewers of "" and "" now have a reason to be overjoyed for their favorite shows will return with new episodes. Prospect Park has finally confirmed the long-running reports about its plans to revive the show online.

The production company says that it has signed agreements with the Screen Actors Guild, the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists as well as the DGA to bring the shows back via The Online Network. It's also announced that production will kick off in February in Stamford, Conn.

"AMC" creator Agnes Nixon has agreed to be actively involved in the project, and Ginger Smith is on board as the executive producer for "AMC". Meanwhile, Foz McDermott (coordinating producer on "") and Jennifer Pepperman ("OLTL" director) will serve as TOLN's head of production and executive producer on "OLTL" respectively.

"We thank the loyal audience and new generation of fans of both shows who have demonstrated that passion and exciting story lines are not just reserved for traditional television," Prospect Park says in a statement. "We look forward to sharing more details including our launch air date and additional specifics in the coming weeks."

It's not yet revealed which actors will return to "AMC" and "OLTL" for the online revival.
