The one-half of LMFAO releases his first solo effort after the defunct singing duo's momentary split.

AceShowbiz - After the electronic dance music team-up of Redfoo and SkyBlu, together known as LMFAO, announced in September last year that their tandem was going on a temporary hiatus, Skyblu returns to the scene to embark on his own solo career with his new single "Pop Bottles". The elctro-pop dance tune turns out to be quite similar to the classic LMFAO sound as heard on their biggest hits "Sexy and I Know It" and "Party Rock Anthem".

SkyBlu's latest work is reminiscent of his party-rocking ways with his old partner-in-crime Redfoo, as he sings about drinking and hitting the club in the track. "Pop bottles, make it rain/ Every night it's all the same/ Hit the club, hit the after party, then we hit the plane," rings the chorus of the track, which also features up-and-coming singer Mark Rosas from Big Bad University.

Launched under Big Bad University, SkyBlu says "Pop Bottles" and all his future work will most definitely have the LMFAO vibe. "All the music that I'm going to make is always going to be LMFAO-ish ...," said the one-half of the popular singing duo. "I was really passionate about bringing party music to the world, so I will always be making some kind of party music."

SkyBlu's "Pop Bottles" comes on the heels of Redfoo's own debut solo track "Bring Out the Bottles", released just last month. Both Redfoo and SkyBlu were busy with their own individual endeavors before dropping their new tracks, with SkyBlu performing at the 2012 Latin Grammy Awards in November and Redfoo remixing Far East Movement's track "Live My Life" featuring Justin Bieber and working on Carly Rae Jepsen's album "Kiss".

In September 2012, LMFAO announced via an official statement that their duo would be going on a break and would not be seen performing together indefinitely as they have decided to take their individual careers in different directions. The duo even went on MTV News to reassure fans that they're not permanently splitting-up.
