MoveOn.org organizer, Angelo Carusone, claims that his group is considering to launch protest against the network to stop it from launching the new season of the reality game show.

AceShowbiz - A group of anti-Donald Trump has conducted protest against the famed business magnate over the weekend, urging Macy's corporate to fire him. Not only that, but they also threatened to launch similar protest against NBC, pushing the network to kick the Trump Organization boss out of "The Celebrity Apprentice".

Breaking the news was The Hollywood Reporter which had talked to the group's organizer Angelo Carusone, who said he's considering to take similar action against NBC to stop the network from premiering another season of "Celebrity Apprentice". Admitting that he hadn't finalized the plan, Carusone stated, "I am certain there's strong public sentiment for an action like that. But, I am still evaluating its potential."

NBC has yet to comment on the issue, but it seems that the network will keep supporting Trump as it prepares to launch a new season of the Trump Entertainment Resorts founder's reality series. The new season is expected to air sometime in March 2013.

As reported by THR, a mobile billboard mocking Trump was attached to a truck, which was spotted strolling around Macy's headquarter in Cincinnati, Ohio. Similar mobile billboard was also seen circling around Macy's flagship store in Herald Square in New York. The billboards featured a photo of Santa Claus and aggressive-looking Trump and had a tagline read, "Bring back the old Macy's. Donald Trump."

The billboards were made by liberal group MoveOn.org, which has so far garnered 680,000 signatures for a petition against Trump which started since November. The group accused Trump of making "sexist" and "racially charged" comments and asked Macy's to stop using him in the company's ads.

"There is a gap between what Macy's brand is and what Donald Trump's brand is," Carusone insisted. "Macy's says they are a cut above the rest. They appeal to everyone's nostalgia. They inject themselves into our culture and our holidays. We don't think [Trump] represents the values they espouse."

Macy's hasn't released any new comment regarding the protest. Meanwhile, MoveOn.org will display the billboards through Christmas Eve during peak shopping hours.
