Michael Bay Denies Script for 'Transformers 4' Has Been Leaked

December 18, 2012 (6:48 am) GMT
'I can absolutely 100 percent say this is completely false,' so Bay says of the report about the leaked 120-page script which allegedly belongs to 'T4'.

Earlier on Monday, December 17, there was an online frenzy after an alleged script for "Transformers 4" leaked onto the web. Being very responsive as usual, director Michael Bay quickly took to his personal blog to brush off the report and publicly deny that the "T4" screenplay had made it way out online.

"Some Internet sites this morning reported that some document recovery guy has found a legitimate 120 page script of Transformers 4. I can absolutely 100 percent say this is completely false," so Bay claimed. "The only two people in the world that have our unfinished script are [Ehren] Kruger and myself."

"Also we are only up to page 70 in our T4 script. Maybe this guy has a cartoon or something else - but definitely not our movie!" he insisted, before adding, "I bet it is something from Hasbro. This time they are not doing a comic book of the movie because we want to keep our story under wraps. It must be their version of a comic themed Transformers story they are creating."

The frenzy started when Unleash the Fanboy posted a 120-page script, which was believed to belong to "T4". In the said script, it was revealed that the villain would be none other than Unicorn.

Apart from debunking the script leak rumor, Bay also took time earlier this month to dismiss the swirling casting report suggesting that and were tapped to tackle the new young leads. "Actor announcement on some web sites last night about Transformer cast joining Mark are completely false," so he stated.

Previously it was rumored that Peltz was set to play the daughter of 's character. Meanwhile, Australian actor Thwaites, who will next be seen in 's "", was tapped to play Peltz's biker boyfriend.

To arrive in the U.S. theaters on June 26, 2014, "Transformers 4" would include a brand new cast ensemble, though Bay once insisted that it would not be a reboot. "It's not a reboot, that's maybe wrong," he once said to Hero Complex.
