The likes of Mario Lopez, Eva Longoria, Pitbull, Gloria Estefan and Ricky Martin send their condolences and prayers for the late singer and her family.

AceShowbiz - American-Mexican singer Jenni Rivera is believed to have been killed in a plane crash on early Sunday, December 9. Two helicopters were sent to assist the search of the missing plane. The U.S.-registered Learjet 25 carrying the 43-year-old artist was found in the northern state of Nuevo Leon, and no one survived the accident.

"Everything points to that this is the plane," said Gerardo Ruiz Esparza, minister of transportation and communications. "This is what's so regrettable, that it was so badly destroyed that there's nothing recognizable." The mother of five and grandmother of two, along with her publicist, lawyer, makeup artist, was reportedly on board along with two pilots.

Jenni flew from Monterrey to Toluca, Mexico at 3:15 A.M. after having a concert on Saturday night. Her plane lost contact with air traffic controllers about 10 minutes later or approximately 60 miles away from Monterrey. Her death has yet to be confirmed, and the cause of the crash is unclear pending results of the investigation.

Jenni is one of the biggest stars in Mexico. Known for her Nortena and Banda musical styles, she has sold millions of record and received Grammy nominations. In addition to singing, she had her own TV show and served as a judge on the Mexican version of "The Voice" that was supposed to air on Televisa Sunday night.

In the wake of the tragic accident, Televisa said it would broadcast a special report on Jenni's disappearance instead. A fellow judge on the singing show took to Twitter to send condolence. "My heart is devastated," wrote Beto Cuevas after the devastating news. "All my prayers are with you, Jenni, and your family."

Mario Lopez remembered his last encounter with the singer, "Spent some time with Jenni Rivera recently. What an amazing lady... Cool, smart, funny & talented. Such a travesty... God Bless her family." Eva Longoria joined the mourners, "My heart breaks for the loss of Jenni Rivera & everyone on the plane. My prayers go out to her family. We lost a legend today."

Pitbull also sent his prayers, "I highly respected #JenniRivera 4 being a gr8 performer but more then tht being real & gr8 example 4 us all que dios la bendiga &may she RIP." Gloria Estefan posted, "Our deepest sympathy to the family & fans of @jennirivera & those that accompanied her on what was to be her last voyage. Rest in peace..."

Kat DeLuna tweeted, "Let's pray for @jennirivera and for the ones that were on her plane. God please give her family strength during this moment." Ricky Martin wrote, "Esto es triste. Un poco en shock. Mucha paz para su familia." The likes of Russell Simmons and Adrienne Bailon were among the mourners as well.

Also sending condolence was Los Angeles Dodgers, where Jenni's ex Esteban Loaiza played. The singer, who became a single mother at the age of 15, announced her separation from the former Major League Baseball pitcher last October. After the concert on Saturday, Jenni took time to talk about her divorce. "I can't get caught up in the negative because that destroys you," she said.

"I am a woman like any other and ugly things happen to me like any other woman. Perhaps trying to move away from my problems and focus on the positive is the best I can do," she said in a press conference one day before she took off to Toluca. "The number of times I have fallen down is the number of times I have gotten up."
