AceShowbiz - Gearing up for the new year, CBS is releasing its 2013 midseason schedule. The network will finally bring back veteran comedy "Rules of Engagement" on air Monday, February 4 at 8:30 P.M. after benching its seventh season for quite some time.
The new spring installments of "Survivor" and "The Amazing Race" will debut Wednesday, February 13 and Sunday, February 17 respectively. The Eye also plans to air special previews of new series "Golden Boy" on Tuesday, February 26 and Tuesday, March 6 at 10 P.M., pre-empting "Vegas".
The crime drama will move to Fridays at 9 P.M. starting March 8 after "CSI: NY" wraps up its current season. In this new slot, the rookie cop series is paired with another police drama series "Blue Bloods".
Another freshman "Friend Me", meanwhile, hasn't gotten a spot in the schedule. The new comedy, following two friends who move from Indiana to Los Angeles to start their new jobs, recently mourned the death of co-creator Alan Kirschenbaum.
