AceShowbiz - Sheeraz Hasan, Kim Kardashian's visit promoter in Bahrain, slammed news that Kim's coming to Bahrain was highly confronted by Sunni Muslims. He claimed that the socialite was very well welcomed by Bahrain's people on Twitter on Sunday, December 2.

The Millions of Milkshakes promoter tweeted, "WHAT PROTESTS?? Kim Kardashian loved by the people of Bahrain & wants to return!!" He also shared a video link, which features the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star attending the milkshake launching. In the video, she greets her fans, and is highly admired by them.

The girlfriend of Kanye West visited the island Gulf state on Saturday, December 1, to launch a new shop of her Millions of Milkshakes franchise. The reality TV show's coming was reportedly welcomed with protests by the citizens in the capital of Manama.

The protests reportedly were voiced by about 100 Sunni Salafists outside The Walk Bahrain upmarket mall in the capital of Manama. Among the offensive banners stretched out by the protesters read, "Syria receives martyrs while Bahrain receives whores."

Another banner read, "None of our customs and traditions allow us to receive stars of porn movies." The conservative folks stated that the artist had a bad reputation, so they were against her visit. However, the protesters didn't succeed to cast out the brunette beauty. Police then drove out the protesters with tear gas and stun grenades.

The 32-year-old star paid no heed to the riot. Donning an elegant tight blue dress, she attended an official launching of Millions of Milkshakes, near the location of protests. She praised the fans, especially the girls, who greeted her on the ceremony.

"I love the girls here; their make up and hair are beautiful," she gave her speech at the venue. "People from the States should come here because the country and the people are so amazing and welcoming that I am planning to be back here on my vacation."

She also expressed her gratitude on Twitter on Saturday, December 1, saying, "Thanks Sheikh Khalifa for your amazing hospitality. I'm in love with The Kingdom of Bahrain." Later, she added, "Thanks @sheerazhasan and Paresh A Shah for an amazing trip to The Kingdom of Bahrain and Kuwait. We did it!!!"

However, even on Twitter, she was still confronted. A Twitter user named #Free replied her tweet, "How much did Sheikh Khalifa pay you to tweet that blatant lie? 20 million? You're the epitome of filth." The tweep went on, "You are the very definition of greed and when the Al Khalifa regime goes down you'll look worse than Vogue/Syria."
