Michael Lohan continues his war against his ex-wife Dina Lohan just hours after LiLo was taken into custody for allegedly punching a fellow clubber in NYC.

AceShowbiz - Lindsay Lohan's divorced parents broke silence after she was arrested on suspicion of assault following a fight with another woman in a NYC nightclub on Thursday, November 29. Dina Lohan offered full support for her daughter, but Michael Lohan was not impressed.
"@dinalohan why is it that I have to go public to get her into rehab and you want to take credit when you are part of the cause?" Michael scoffed at his former wife. The Lohan patriarch added in an uppercase-letter tweet, "TOLD YOU!"
In a carefully-worded statement, Dina said as quoted by E! News, "At this time I kindly ask that you extend to my family the time we need to address my daughter's circumstances with the appropriate parties. As a mother you always love and pray for the best with all your children."
The Lohan matriarch continued, "Our family's bond grows deeper and stronger during the tough times and I am beyond proud of all of my children for the love and devotion they provide for each other. We are there for and stand by one another unconditionally."
She concluded, "Many thanks to all that have expressed concern for my daughter. Your compassionate thoughts and prayers are received with my deepest gratitude."
The alleged victim of LiLo's punch is a physic named Tiffany Mitchell. The woman reportedly offered the actress a free reading when she spotted the star sitting near her. She claimed the "Mean Girls" actress fired off a racial slur at her after turning down her offer.
LiLo allegedly called Tiffany a "f***ing gypsy," and that's when all hell broke loose. She was arrested on third degree misdemeanor assault and was released later that day. She is expected to appear in court face formal charges at a January 7 arraignment.
In the meantime, she's resting at home after avoiding paparazzi's cameras by hiding under her bodyguard's blazer when making her way out of jail. "She's sleeping. She was up all night long and went through a very rough ordeal," her lawyer Mark Heller said.
"We are going to be working very earnestly to establish that no charges should even be lodged," he said. "[The police] have already made arrangements to get the video from the club, which hopefully will reveal some exonerating information. After that, they could just walk away from the case and decline to even prosecute."
"She was certainly not intoxicated, certainly not under the influence of drugs. She was clear [and] lucid, her eyes were clear. No alcohol involvement whatsoever on this occasion," he uttered. "She was perfectly appropriate. And the police made note of that."
As if facing an assault charge is not enough, LiLo is also slapped with misdemeanors for resisting, obstructing, or delaying an officer in the course of their duties by giving false information to an officer who investigated a car accident involving her last summer. She's additionally cited for reckless driving.
