The video shows a live report of a gigantic monster wreaking havoc, spreading terror and causing panic among the citizen of the Californian city.

AceShowbiz - How Kaiju in "Pacific Rim" will look like has finally been teased in a newly-released viral video for the Guillermo del Toro-directed movie. The footage is presented in a breaking news-like format for a certain TV program. A man is reporting a massive attack in San Francisco by an unidentified gigantic creature. "San Francisco has now become a war zone," so says the reporter.

The city is seen terribly damaged and people are seen running in panic to save themselves from something. Roaring sound of the Kaiju is heard at some points as it wreaks havoc throughout the Northern California city. The monster is also featured destroying the Golden Gate before seen getting captured on what seems to be an aircraft carrier.

"Pacific Rim" follows the time when legions of monstrous creatures known as Kaiju start rising from the sea. To combat the monsters, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge.

A washed up former pilot named Raleigh Antrobus and an untested trainee called Mako Mori team up to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past. Together, they stand as mankind's last hope when Kaiju aim to take millions of lives and consume humanity's resources for years on end.

Starring as Antrobus is Charlie Hunnam, while Rinko Kikuchi tackles the part of Mori. They are joined by Idris Elba as General Stacker Pentecost, and Charlie Day as Newt Gotlieb. The much-awaited sci-fi movie will make its way out onto theaters across the United States on July 12, 2013.
