AceShowbiz - A funny featurette for "This Is 40" has gone online. Focusing on Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann's struggle to maintain the chemistry in their marriage life, the promo video is packed with plenty of new hilarious scenes involving the two actors' on-screen family.
Mann plays a wife who is obsessed with beauty and at one point, she is seen groping Megan Fox's boobs while trying to believe her eyes that those breasts are real. Rudd, meanwhile, plays a careless hubby who is not sensitive to his wife's needs. Adding complication to their life is their rebellious teenage daughter and a foul-mouthed mom (Melissa McCarthy) of the daughter's schoolmate.
From the director of "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" and "Funny People", "This Is 40" is an original comedy that expands upon the story of Rudd's Pete and Mann's Debbie from the 2007 blockbuster hit "Knocked Up". The movie highlights how the twosome deal with their lives as they get older.
Judd Apatow serves as the producer and writer in addition to directing the R-rated comedy. Also rounding up the cast ensemble are Albert Brooks, Chris O'Dowd, Lena Dunham, Ryan Lee and Annie Mumolo. Universal Pictures will release the movie in the United States on December 21.
