Rumor that "Transformers 4" will have young female and male leads might be true after all. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Michael Bay is preparing to test some Hollywood hotties to join Mark Wahlberg in the next "Transformers" flick. Among those young stars who will audition for the coveted parts reportedly are Isabelle Cornish and Luke Grimes.

Multiple sources reveal to THR that "Transformers 4" will focus on Wahlberg's character and his young daughter. The daughter's boyfriend, who is said to be a race car driver, will be the third protagonist in the movie. This seemingly confirms a previous report from spoiler TV which suggested that "the new female lead that they are looking for is a high school senior and her boyfriend a Texas racing driver."

The testing for the roles is set to take place this week. In addition to Abbie Cornish's little sister, other young actresses who are in the mix for the female lead are Nicola Peltz, Margaret Quallay and Gabriella Wilde. As for the other candidates for the young male lead, there are Landon Liboiron, Brenton Thwaites and Hunter Parrish.

Words are, Paramount Pictures will sign the chosen actors to strict three-picture deals. Though so, none of the mentioned actors is balking since having a chance to replace Shia LaBeouf in the massive film franchise is considered a huge opportunity.

"Transformers 4" will include a brand new set of cast ensemble but it won't be a reboot since the story picks up four years after the events in "Transformers: Dark of the Moon". The movie will be released in the U.S. on June 26, 2014.
