The survivors team up to get the supplies needed for the newborn baby, Rick struggles to control his emotion after another loss, and Glenn prepares some burials.

AceShowbiz - When "The Walking Dead" returns next week, Rick is still struggling to come to terms with the lost of his beloved one. He gets emotional and loses his cool when Glenn tries to boost his spirit back, leaving his newborn baby in the hands of other survivors.
Glenn himself is mourning the death of not just one, but three fellow survivors. He gets help from some prisoners to dig holes to bury the deceased people, while other remaining survivors team up to get the supplies needed by Rick's baby.
Elsewhere, in Woodbury, the Governor is having a celebration with the members of his community. Michonne's suspicion of the Governor is growing and she's determined to leave the place, but Andrea insists that Michonne is making a wrong decision.
Titled "Say the Word", the episode will air Sunday, November 11 at 9/8c on AMC.
Speaking about the shocking episode where [SPOILER ALERT!] Lori was killed off in a gruesome yet emotional way, Glen Mazzara claimed they made the decision to move up Lori's death "to make sure that Rick was suffering as much as possible, that Rick was at his breaking point, at the exact moment that his most formidable foe [the Governor] was coming right for him."
The showrunner went on explaining, "The Rick at the end of episode two can take on the Governor but the Rick of end of episode four is a broken man. Now everything is up in the air and anything could happen when the two groups meet. That was the catalyst for the decision: Lori's death and the affects on Rick and the rest of the group would be a devastating loss."
The comic book writer Robert Kirkman added, "It's very important in the comic series that Rick loses his wife after everything he's tried to do; it's unavoidable and that informs his character moving forward... We wanted to spend a lot of time with Carl and Rick in the aftermath of that. As the season progresses, you'll see just how important Lori was to the show and how much of a loss that's going to end up being."
Mazzara additionally said that Lori's death would always haunt Rick, gushing, "The takeaway is that Rick is always going to feel that he had a hand in Lori's death." As for whether or not Lori would return to the show, he didn't rule out the possibility as stating, "Nobody goes away on this show; we can always have flashbacks."
Sarah Wayne Callies, meanwhile, said she had prepared for her character's death, even before Mazzara pitched the storyline. She recalled the time the showrunner informed her about the decision to kill off Lori, "Before we got off the phone, I said, 'Listen, Glen, I'm a big girl. I've been doing this for a while. This is fine. I loved this show. I poured my heart and soul into this show. I will pour it in until the very last frame. But I'm not going to cry, I'm not going to pitch a fit. You're doing what's best for the show."
