'There will definitely be a Dr. Strange movie,' so the Marvel honcho claims before adding that the 'Black Panther is being developed.'

AceShowbiz - It has been long rumored that "Dr. Strange" and "Black Panther" will receive big screen treatments from Marvel Studios, but the fate of the projects remain unclear until now. However, fans should not be worried because Stan Lee himself has confirmed that those two movies are definitely going to happen anyway.

While discussing the future of comic books at recent Savannah Film Fest, Lee took time to announce that the "Dr. Strange" project is still alive and the "Black Panther" pic is in development. "Oh they are all being made into movies! I can tell you there will definitely be a Dr. Strange movie!" so he said, as quoted by District.

"They are working on 'Ant-Man', which requires really small cameras!" the co-creator of many famous Marvel superheroes went on spilling. "Black Panther is being developed, one of my favorites... the Inhumans... All the heroes will eventually be made into movies."

Of his role as the executive producer for Marvel movies, Lee said, "I have very little control. I don't see the script, occasionally I will have lunch with the director or a star, like the guy making Ant-Man, I don't remember his name- I don't remember names, or Robert Downey Jr., for 'Iron Man' and we talk about the characters. But all I do for the movies are the cameos really. Then when the movie comes out I am excited to see it just like all of you. I'm seeing it for the first time."

The "Dr. Strange" project has been in development for years. Back in June 2010, the studio tapped screenwriter duo, who also penned the script for "Conan the Barbarian", Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer. However, there had been no significant progress update on the project ever since.

As for the "Black Panther" gig, it was once rumored that the African-American hero will get a big screen treatment right after "Captain America: The Winter Soldier". However, the report was debunked by Marvel insiders.
