Video: Christina Aguilera Sings 'Beautiful' at NBC's Hurricane Sandy Benefit Concert

The New York-born singer joins Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen and other big names to visit the hardest hit areas of the storm during the NBC telethon held Friday, November 2.

Doing her part to help raise funds for Superstorm Sandy victims, performed her hit song "Beautiful" at the NBC telethon "Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together" concert. The star-studded event was held Friday, November 2 at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York.

Aguilera's heartfelt rendition of the song gave a solemn and hopeful mood as she opened the benefit gig. She smoothly sang the ballad and gave new twirls to her signature power vocals to make the song even more inspirational and uplifting. Being a native of Staten Island, NY, Aguilera was all emotional and committed to raising funds and helping her fellow New Yorkers.

"I was born in Staten Island... We are here for you. We will do whatever we can to help. We will not leave any one of you behind, because every single one of you matters," opened the 31-year old singer. "We've come together tonight to tell every single person who's suffering that we're here for you. We will do whatever we can to help. We will not leave anyone behind because every single one of you matter," Aguilera said before belting out her 2002 hit single.

Other big names who lent their time and talent for the fundraiser were New Jersey-born rockers who performed "Who Says You Can't Go Home" and "Livin' on a Prayer", and who played "My City of Ruins" and "Land of Hope and Dreams" together with The E Street Band. Long Island native also took the stage with his 1976 song, "Miami 2017 (Seen the Lights Go Out on Broadway)".

The telethon was hosted by and was also attended by New York's famous faces such as , , , , , and . All funds raised during the telethon will go to the American Red Cross.
