The rapper behind 'Section.80' hits some hard spots and responds to critics in this brand new single.

AceShowbiz - Just a week after launching his second studio album entitled "good kid, m.A.A.d city", hip hop artist Kendrick Lamar shelves out the new single "The Jig Is Up (Dump'n)", which was produced by J. Cole and Canei Finch and apparently just two days out of the recording studios.

The single comes out as the rapper's thank you to all his fans who gave him huge support during his Good Kid release week and treats it as a victory song of sorts. "This week is up... Yall did it... Appreciation day is TODAY. With that being said. Me and COLE was in the stu last night," Lamar wrote on his Twitter account. What he and Cole dished out in the studio that night was immediately released with no savvy marketing and promotional stunts for the song.

However, "The Jig is Up" is definitely not all about gratitude as Lamar gets back at rapper Shyne and his disparaging comments about "good kid, m.A.A.d city". Shyne recently called Lamar's album "traaaash" and the 25-year old MC , a.k.a K-Dot, responds with this rhyme: "I pray to God this beat is good enough for Shyne / If not, J. Cole your shit is traaash! / But at least my opinion just made everyone laugh."

"good kid, m.A.A.d city" sold over 240, 000 copies in its first week and K-Dot is still in the studios with Cole working on a collaborative project.
