Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong's condition has forced the band to cancel more performance dates, but it's not all bad as their 'Tre!' launch moves up a month earlier.

AceShowbiz - Concerning on frontman Billie Joe Armstrong's rehab treatment and well-being, Green Day have decided to call off their remaining 2012 appearances and have also canceled 21 tour dates for January and February 2013. The band said rescheduled show dates would be announced soon and that previously bought tickets would be honored for the new dates.

Although this sudden turn of events may affect the band's promotion for their trilogy album, things still seem on the right track when it comes to their scheduled album releases for "Dos!" and "Tre!", coming out on November 13 and December 11 respectively. "Uno!" was released last September 25, and "Tre!" would come out a month earlier than its original date of January 15, 2013.

According to a statement released by Green Day bassist Mike Dirnt, the band were putting Armstrong's well being as top priority. "Obviously the timing for this isn't ideal, but Billie Joe's well-being is our main concern. We are happy to say that Billie Joe is doing well, and we want to thank you all for the outpouring of support and well wishes that we have received, and we can't wait to see you all again soon," he said.

Fans will have to wait to see Green Day play live, and for now just to be content listening to the band's upcoming albums. "We feel bad we have to delay our tour, so to make up for it we want to give our fans the music earlier than we had planned...If we couldn't be there to play it for you live, the least we could do was give you the next best thing," added Dirnt.
