AceShowbiz - Another new music video from Nicki Minaj lands online days after she premiered the visuals for "The Boys". This time around, the Harajuku Barbie unleashes a clip in support of her new song "Come on a Cone". Instead of boasting her signature candy-color theme, the minimalist video is packed with candid scenes of the Trinidadian rapper at some star-studded events.
Highlighting Nicki's high-class lifestyle as a famous raptress, the music video sees the Young Money leading lady hanging out with famous people at some prestigious gigs. She is at one point seen sitting on the front row alongside the likes of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. In another, she is featured mingling with power couple Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles.
The new clip is directed and produced by Grizz Lee for the song that Nicki penned herself. Upon premiering the new video, the 29-year-old rhymer tweets exitedly, "BARBZ!!!!!!! about to post smthng..." She adds, "it shld be up on mobile now barbz, zzzaaaamnnnnn..... =p"
"Come on a Cone" is lifted off Nicki's "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded", which will be released in expanded version "Pink Friday Roman Reloaded: The Re-Up" on November 19. The song basically tells about the rapper's first-class circle, including the likes of Ellen DeGeneres and Vogue editor Anna Wintour. "Every b**** wants to be me," so she spits in one part.
