Robert Pattinson Talks Going 'Insane' When Filming 'Breaking Dawn II' Fight Scene
Movie

While visiting Sydney, Australia to promote the final 'Twilight Saga' film, Rob takes time to discuss the movie and comment on Kristen Stewart's role as a new vampire.

AceShowbiz - Robert Pattinson has officially kicked off the promotional tour for "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn Part II" in Sydney, Australia. Amid his busy schedule attending a photo call session for the movie on Monday, October 22, the Edward Cullen depicter took some time to discuss the final "Twilight Saga" flick with MTV Australia.

The British heartthrob shared about having an exhausting period when filming the climatic battle scene between the Cullens and the Volturi. "This one was hard," he recalled. "I mean, we were shooting this big action sequence for about two and a half months in a massive warehouse where they normally sell cows, with a bunch of fake paper snow and green walls, and you literally started to go insane after a while! Yeah, it gets tough doing stuff like that, it gets a bit repetitive."

During the chat, Rob also dished on his girlfriend Kristen Stewart's new role as a vampire. "Yeah, she was really excited about being a vampire. Everybody else who'd been pretty consistently in the movies, they'd obviously been playing a vampire like every day for ages. And so it's funny seeing someone suddenly come into it and try and figure out their own version of the physicality and the mentality of it."

"But her character has a different thing, because she's supposed to find it really easy," the 26-year-old actor went on explaining. "It's supposed to be a natural progression for her to become a vampire, it's supposed to be simple. So I guess it was kind of different."

Speaking about the most memorable on-set experiences, Rob shared, "There's been a few. I mean, going to Brazil on this one was pretty fun, it was pretty crazy. I crashed a speedboat which was pretty exciting! Yeah tons. Tons from the first movie, it was just so different being the first one. I mean we used to travel to set, the entire cast, in a minibus. I mean it was so entirely the opposite of what the last one ended up being - like being in helicopters and stuff."

Rob stole the attention of Australian media as he arrived in the country to promote the highly-anticipated movie. Stopping by Sydney Harbour, the London-born thesp did a photo shoot in which he struck some glum poses on the river bank while getting clad in a sleek buttoned-up black shirt and jeans paired with matching blazer.

The "Bel Ami" star will reprise his iconic role of Edward in "Breaking Dawn II", which will open Stateside on November 15, the same day when the "Twilight" movie marathon takes place in selected cinemas in the United States.
