Scribe Bret Easton Ellis blasts LiLo for allegedly missing her ADR session, but the actress' rep insists that she's busy promoting 'Liz and Dick' and her 'Canyons' work 'had to be rescheduled.'

AceShowbiz - Another day is another problem for Lindsay Lohan. After a series of headline-grabbing feuds with her parents, the former child star is now accused of skipping work on her latest film "The Canyons". It was Bret Easton Ellis, the scribe of the movie, himself who claimed that LiLo was irresponsibly missing her ADR session for the sexual thriller pic.
Bret recently took to his Twitter account and slammed the "Machete" actress. Referencing a serial killer character in "American Psycho", he posted, "Patrick Bateman has just headed over to Lindsay Lohan's hotel to confront her as to why she missed her f***ing ADR on 'The Canyons' today..."
ADR itself stands for Automatic Dialog Replacement, in which actors re-record their dialogues. Commenting on Ellis' public shaming toward LiLo, Trigger Street president Dana Brunetti tweeted, "Why did she miss her ADS? Um, she's Lindsay Lohan..." Another user, meanwhile, added, "She was being Liz Taylor of course."
Pouring cold water on the issue, LiLo's representative Steve Honig clarified to E! News that the actress didn't mean to skip her work on "Canyons". He said, "Lindsay is busy right now promoting her new film 'Liz & Dick' and [Canyons work] had to be rescheduled. That's it."
"Canyons" producer Braxton Pope also broke silence on the problem, defending the actress as saying, "Lindsay has been busy doing press for 'Liz & Dick'. Bret was jesting since he was going to the Chateau [Marmont] that night. Inside joke between us all that has been misconstrued."
"I saw Lindsay last night, post is proceeding smoothly on 'The Canyons'," he explained. "There are certainly no ADR issues, and she has seen the movie and is supportive of it. All is well in Canyonlands."
LiLo is set to star opposite porn star James Deen in the upcoming film. The pic is described as a "contemporary thriller" which "documents five twenty-somethings' quest for power, love, sex and success in 2012 Hollywood." Lindsay stars as Tara, while James portrays her boyfriend Christian.
