AceShowbiz - Building the anticipation to the Friday release of "Paranormal Activity 4", Paramount Pictures unveils a new spooky clip for the found-footage movie. In it, Alex, the blond girl seen in previous promo videos, is seen braving the dark and going to her garage where she hears a strange noise. Disaster happens as she enters the garage and a creepy female appears in the living room and Alex suddenly gets locked from the outside.
"Paranormal Activity 4" is set in 2011, five years after Katie killed her boyfriend Micah, sister Kristi and her husband Daniel, as well as took away their baby Hunter (now named Robbie). The story focuses on Alex and her mom who experience weird stuff since the new neighbors (Katie and Robbie) moved in to town.
The fourth film in the "Paranormal Activity" series is once again directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman. The movie will open nationwide this coming Friday, October 19, the same day when Tyler Perry's actioner "Alex Cross" hits the cinemas.
The fourth movie has generated relatively positive reviews so far as some critics praised it as the best film in the franchise. It is poised to open big this weekend, following the footsteps of its predecessor "Paranormal Activity 3" which took in $54 million in its first week last year. It broke the record of the best opening of all time for a horror movie.
