T.I. weighs in on what happened in Atlanta over the weekend, putting in a good guess that it was most definitely testosterone running high that caused the brawls.

AceShowbiz - It turned out the brawl between Rick Ross' and Young Jeezy's entourages was not the only altercation happening during the taping of 2012 BET Hip-Hop Awards over the weekend. A new video hit the web, capturing a fight between 50 Cent's crew and Gunplay.

While the scuffle between Rozay's and Jeezy's group occurred in a hallway of the Atlanta Civic Center, Fiddy and his G-Unit crew got into a fight with Gunplay outside the building. Tony Yayo and Mike Knox were caught on camera with Fiddy outdoor.

T.I., who was in the building at the time, didn't know about the fights, but it's not hard for him to pinpoint the cause of the scuffles. "Men everywhere, we have huge egos and lots of pride," the Grand Hustle rapper said. "I don't know that particular incident personally, but most fights that I hear about, it's about pride and ego."

BET's president of music programming and specials, Stephen G. Hill, blamed "reckless tweeting" for what happened. "One person said there was gunshots. Somebody took that," he told Complex. "I used to do this thing when I was a little kid. I used to say something outrageous."

"I'd say, 'I read that somewhere.' I wrote it down, closed my eyes, and then I read it, and so it's true. That's exactly what happens with Twitter. People read it, so they think it's true, and people retweet it like, 'Oh my God, there were gunshots.' 'Cause some fool tweeted, 'I heard gunshots.' There were no gunshots."

In an official statement, the network said, "BET Networks works very hard to bring the best in entertainment to the city of Atlanta. For the past seven years BET has celebrated the true art form of Hip Hop. Due to some misjudgment of select attendees, it is unfortunate that certain incidents took place. BET Networks does not condone any type of violence. Local authorities are working to resolve the situation as quickly as possible."

In a separate interview with Philadelphia's Hot 107.9, Knox was unapologetic for what happened. Insisting that Fiddy was not involved in the scuffle, he said of Gunplay, "The only thing I can tell you is he was in the wrong place at the wrong time and he was acting a certain kinda way that he shouldn't have been actin' and he got dealt with."

Gunplay himself said to TMZ, "I don't know [why it started], it's just what happens." He added, "I don't know nothing about no shots fired, Imma be totally honest with you, but all I know [is] I had to fight off five dudes." To the G-Unit crew, he fired off a threat, "If you f*** with me, if you play with me, you might get gunned down - you never know."

Machine Gun Kelly got injured in one of the brawls as tweeting, "Got mase in my eyes. That beef s*** just got real outside." The police said, "There were no arrests or reports of serious injuries."
