Each of the drama series and the comedies gets nine additional episodes, bringing their total episodes of this season to 22.

AceShowbiz - After airing just a few episodes of "Revolution", "Go On" and "The New Normal", NBC has picked up the three new shows for a full season. It marks the first series of this fall TV season to get full-season pick-ups with nine more episodes to be added to the initially-ordered 13 episodes.
"We're impressed with the imagination and creative direction of the entire team on 'Revolution', not to mention the immediately strong response we got from the audience," says NBC Entertainment president Jennifer Salke of the sci-fi drama from J.J. Abrams, Erik Kripke and Jon Favreau.
"We're also very proud of our new comedy block of 'Go On' and 'The New Normal'," Salke adds. "In partnering with Matthew Perry for 'Go On', creator Scott Silveri has created a comedy with a highly original voice that deftly combines humor and emotion. And Ryan Murphy and Ali Adler have created a truly unique family in 'The New Normal' that is reflective of the changing dynamics of the world we live in."
Premiering to 11.65 million viewers after a strong lead-in from "The Voice" on September 17, "Revolution" is averaging 9.8 million viewers and a 3.6 rating in adults 18-49. "Go On" debuted during the Olympics with 16.1 million viewers and a 5.6 rating. After airing in its regular timeslot, the show is averaging 8.6 million viewers and a 3.2 rating in the coveted demo.
As for "The New Normal" which had sparked protests due to its theme before it aired, it debuted to 7 million viewers and a 2.5 rating. After four episodes, the sitcom earns an average of 6.0 million viewers and a 2.2 rating in the demo.
