The actor and his college buddy Tim O'Keefe premiere the music video of their debut EP's lead single, 'Love in the Old Days'.

AceShowbiz - James Franco's music venture with Daddy is kicked off with the premiere of "Love in the Old Days" music video. The "Your Highness" actor released his collaborative single with pal Tim O'Keefe, debuting as well the video which he directed himself.
The song, which is one of the tracks in the band's upcoming first EP "MotorCity", talks about love in the 1960s with Franco reading poetry about his mom and dad's romance. The video is a series of kaleidoscope of girls, ending with a wedding photo of Franco's parents.
"MotorCity" will be released on Tuesday, September 25. The Motown-inspired record features many contributions including from Smokey Robinson. The album's artwork is the photo of Franco's "Spring Breakers" co-stars Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine.
"The motivation behind Daddy is to push beyond the sonic space of music into the surrounding ecology. Daddy investigates the territories of film/video, installation, and performance while simultaneously exploring the connections that form between them," a press released about the band said.
