'Ant-Man' Test Footage Might Be Released for Public Soon

Aside from talking about 'Ant-Man', Marvel executive Victoria Alonso slams report claiming that Viggo Mortensen is approached to play Dr. Strange.

Good news has been shared for Marvel fans who are wishing to see the much-talked-about test footage of Edgar Wright's "". Marvel executive Victoria Alonso reveals to Omelete that the said video, which was first shown at this year's Comic-Con, is now being polished and will be ready for public's viewing pleasure sometime soon.

"What we showed at Comic-Con was a still unfinished video and we are working to finalize it. And I think you should see it, but do not know where yet," Alonso tells the site. "We always hear what the fans are saying and do everything to meet what they ask. I do not know if we'll publish it online, but I have no reason to imagine that is not a good way. If that's what the fans want ...."

The Dr. Hank Pym movie has been in development for years, and while many people are not sure if the project will kick off filming in a foreseeable future, Alsono hints that Wright may begin lensing after "" is wrapped. "Edgar is on board for the project," she adds. "He'll make another film before [The World's End], a project he had undertaken to do. But he wrote a great script. And hopefully he will soon work with us."

"Ant-Man" follows biochemist Dr. Pym who uses his latest discovery, a group of subatomic particles, to create a size-altering formula. Though his first self-test goes awry, he develops an instrument that helps him communicate with and control insects.

The "Ant-Man" talk aside, Alonso clarifies recent rumors suggesting that Dr. Strange may appear in "Thor 2" with being approached to tackle the part. Debunking the report, she says, "We would love to work with Viggo Mortensen. I've been trying that for years. But I don't know if Viggo is even acting anymore. I thought he wasn't acting anymore. It would be great to work with him in the future, but we don't have him signed, no."
