AceShowbiz - Greg Kinnear, who played Miley Cyrus' on-screen father in "The Last Song", approved of her engagement to co-star Liam Hemsworth. He offered his betrothed co-stars a trip to Tybee Island where their romance first bloomed when they filmed the movie together.
"I'll give them a week on Tybee Island," the actor said to E! News. "They can go back to the place where it all started." He jokingly added, "The truth is you can get a hotel there at a very reasonable cost," before continuing, "So I keep my expenditures down and I'm extending a nice gift as well."
"They worked together very well on that movie, but I didn't realize how well when we're doing it," he said when met at Toronto International Film Festival to support his indie movie "Writers". He continued, "It's great for them. They seem very happy."
