The 'Dancing with the Stars' judge breaks up with her fiance after one year of engagement, but they will remain friends.

AceShowbiz - Carrie Ann Inaba and Jesse Sloan called it quits, a year after getting engaged on national television. "They decided early in the summer to break off their engagement and have remained friends," said a representative for the "Dancing with the Stars" judge.
Jesse proposed to Carrie on "Live With Regis and Kelly" in March 2011. "I've struggled to find the words to express what you mean to me," he said while getting down on one knee. "You're an inspiration, you're beautiful, you're wonderful, you're everything to me. Will you marry me?"
Earlier on the show, Carrie sang praised for Jesse. "He's just a really good guy. He takes good care of me and he's really warm. He loves my cats - we have five cats together - not a lot of men accept a girl who has so many cats," she gushed.
