'Justice League' Reportedly Might Feature Lobo
Movie

Rumor has it, Warner Bros. Pictures is toying around with the idea to bring the burly intergalactic bounty hunter to the DC superhero ensemble movie.

AceShowbiz - Could Lobo end up being featured in Warner Bros. Pictures' "Justice League" project? According to Comic Book Movie, the studio is toying around the idea to bring the burly bounty hunter to the upcoming DC superhero ensemble film in addition to the likes of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash and Green Lantern.

It is unclear whether Lobo would help or fight the JLA in the upcoming film. Still, CBM noted that the idea to feature Lobo was still in the "brainstorming stage at the moment" and that no deal has been signed. Therefore, there's still a possibility that the character would not be included after all.

Should the report be true, that would be quite a shocker since Warners is also developing a standalone "Lobo" movie, which will be directed and written by Brad Peyton. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has confirmed that he's in talks to star as the intergalactic bounty hunter.

For those who are unfamiliar with Lobo, the character is described as an alien bounty hunter in the DC universe. He's an indestructible, blue-skinned, 7-foot tall and heavily muscled antihero who drives a pimped-out motorbike and lands on Earth in search of four fugitives bent on wreaking havoc. Lobo works together with a small-town teenage girl to stop the creatures.

As for "JLA", the project is still looking for a right director to shepherd it. After Ben Affleck turned down the chance to helm the superhero flick, it was rumored that Lana and Andy Wachowski, as well as Brett Ratner were also mentioned as the possible directors.

The long-proposed DC all-star movie has tapped Will Beall as the screenwriter. The movie has been rumored to be released in 2015, which could put it up right against Marvel's "The Avengers 2".
