Kristen Stewart Performs Dirty Dance in New 'On the Road' Clip
Movie

Along with Garrett Hedlund, Stewart doesn't hesitate to ooze her sex appeal and dance crazily in the middle of a new year celebration.

AceShowbiz - Kristen Stewart shows off her dirty dancing skill in the latest clip for "On the Road". At what looks like a new year celebration, Stewart goes wild with Garrett Hedlund by moving her body crazily to a jazzy beat and getting steamy with the blond actor in front of a host of partygoers. Tom Sturridge and Sam Riley are among the people who join the wild party.

Stewart plays Marylou, a 16-year-old wife of Hedlund's Dean Moriarty. She is a free-spirited young lady who has an affinity for marijuana and sex. The couple meets Riley's Sal Paradise who decides to have a road trip soon after the death of his father.

Determined to avoid the pitfalls of a narrow, prescribed life, Paradise joins Moriarty on what evolves into a life-changing physical and emotional odyssey. Thirsting for freedom, they discover the world, the ecstasy of experience, the connectedness of humanity and ultimately themselves.

Stewart recently shared to British Vogue, which has her picture gracing its October issue front cover, that she was challenged when told to dye her hair blond to play Marylou. "I feel like my whole body rejects it, but it was really important for the character," she said. "It was like learning an accent!"

The Los Angeles-born actress also gushed about having empathy for the Beat generation, where the influence of the film came from. "There is always going to be that seam of people who want things differently to the standardized version. It's not necessarily a rebellious thing, it's just who they are," she said.

"That world back then, it just seems freer to me than anything I could ever touch and I'm fully nostalgic for it, even though I wasn't even alive then. It's the loyalty aspect of it all. I love being on the periphery with a group of people who have the same values that I do. People who don't get off on fame, who just like the process of making movies and thrive."

"On the Road" will be screened at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival this month before opening in the U.S. on December 21.
